Awareness Month, a time when people and organizations across the world come together to raise awareness about autism spectrum disorder (ASD).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this year&#8217;s campaign, the <a href=\"https:\/\/ihs.ac.in\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/ihs.ac.in\/\">Institute of Health Sciences<\/a> (IHS) in Bhubneshwar has organized a unique initiative to increase awareness about autism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many students are participating in this campaign by sharing their recorded videos and tagging IHS in social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This campaign is a powerful way to raise awareness about ASD, promote acceptance, and encourage people to take action to support individuals with autism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-advanced-heading uagb-block-a4f07a59\"><h2 class=\"uagb-heading-text\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_is_Autism_spectrum_disorder\"><\/span>What is Autism spectrum disorder?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/margdarsi.org\/school-for-autism.php\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/margdarsi.org\/school-for-autism.php\">Autism spectrum disorder<\/a> is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects communication, behavior, and social interaction. The disorder typically appears in the first few years of life, and symptoms can vary widely from person to person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some people with ASD may have difficulty communicating with others, making eye contact, or understanding social cues, while others may have intense interests in certain topics or repetitive behaviors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the prevalence of autism, there is still a significant lack of understanding about the condition.
